Gas Safe Register deals with all aspects of the downstream gas industry covered by the Gas Safety (Installation and Use). It covers both piped natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

It is law that anyone carrying out gas work that is within the scope of the appropriate Regulations is on the Gas Safe Register from 1 April 2009.

The register is there to protect consumers from unsafe gas work. Your status as a registered engineer is evidence that you are working legally and you are competent and safe to work with gas.

Investors in People UK was established in 1993 to provide national ownership of the Investors in People Standard and is responsible for its promotion and branding, quality assurance and development.

It is the national Standard which sets a level of good practice for training and development of people to achieve business goals.
